Default new member with carb problems

Hi guys I joined this page to maybe figure out my problem, a while back I got a buyang 110cc 4 wheeler for kids. I bought it for 10$ because it didn't run and the starter was bad, I put a starter on it, got a battery, and cleaned the carb. The issue I'm having is when i cleaned the carb I noticed the float was full of gas so I drained it as best I could and tried to seal it with tank sealer/liner and it seems to be sealed but now it won't idle at all and won't run period without a lot of choke and using the throttle quite a bit. The float should be set right but did my float fix cause the float bowl to not hold enough fuel? Or could this be mean the valves aren't set right? Any help or advice is appreciated thank you.

Howdy. Try posting your question in the Chinese quad part of the forums. Couple guys there that have dealt with them many times.

Welcome to the forum. I would guess the float may be damage that is why carb keeps on overflowing.

That's my issue, it isn't leaking at all it almost acts like it isn't getting enough fuel but I don't know what could be causing it, I've cleaned the carb multiple times and it just won't run right even though everything should be set right and the float should be working right and isn't holding fuel anymore

The needle is seating and looks pretty close to perfect to me the spring isn't very stiff but it works and I've tried replacing it with a different needle that was the same size with a better feeling spring and it didn't change anything, and the float wjs holding fuel because of a crack somewhere that I'm pretty sure I fixed with the tank sealer/liner and made sure it clears the body and doesn't bottom out before the needle seats, I'm really stumped
