I have ran across a chance to purchase a 1985 honda 350x. The atc is in beatifull condition and is all stock. The guy wants $800.00 for the atc. What do you think???

 

i would go for it. but then again i paid $850. for a 96 scrambler that didn't run.

 

Maybe you could check NADA or KBB to see how much it is worth. It might not be listed because of it's age. In the May 2001 issue of Dirt Wheels on page 136, there is an article about how much a quad or 3 wheeler is worth. At that time, it said that a 1985 350X was worth $530. wholesale and $730. retail. Considering that a couple years have passed the quad wouldn't be worth as much. You could offer them 5 or 6 hundred for it. If it is in good condition. If it needs tires or anything it would only be worth a few hundred.

 

I would drop him down to $550.
