Went to install my clutch this week heated up my old pressure plate and removed the bearing. Heated up new plate and press in bearing now it hangs when turning, reheated palate removed bearing have too order new one. I will let dealer replace bearing.

you supposed to heat those. couldnt you just ride around witht he clutch pulled half way in for about and hour. Bet it would be roasty toasty by then. : )
I understand your pain. Thats why i got away from my old two stroke too much slipping of the clutch, was replacing it like every six months.

it can be a pain, I know, very tricky sometimes.
the trick is to heat up the surface surrounding the bearing quickly with torch, and then get the bearing out before the heat gets a chance to dissipate into the bearing and expand it as well. otherwise they're both expanded and its still tight. too much heat and the ball cage inside the bearing is toast.
on installation, heat the plate to 200 (in oven), freeze the bearing, and seat with appropriate size tool/socket. pounding on inner race will damage bearing, must use tool that fits outer race.
