What size of paddle and rims do I need?
#1
I have a new 250ex...yes I know, it's a small bike with limited power...but I need some dune tires and rims for next season. What size do I need and what brand? I have been told like three different sizes. 20 x 10 x 8 in a 6 paddle straight config makes the most sense to me. Also...do all quads have the same 4 bolt config or do I need to specify that when ordering?

Your bolt pattern is 4/110 rear. I run ITP 9X9" rims with Skat-Trak 20X11-9, 6-paddle Edges. The ITP rims are wider than stock and have a greater offset, so the bike ends up +3" wider than stock. (Don't go taller than a 20" tire, to keep your effective gearing low.)
Front is 4/144. I run Skat-Trak Mohawks on ITP 10X5" rims. Makes the bike +2" wider.
The little 250 actually does pretty well in the sand, and in Michigan, it isn't like you are going to be climbing 600' dunes at Dumont or anything.
