Suzuki came out with their 800cc single after the 750 single was around for two years back in the mid to late eighties! It's OLD technology. It was in the DR "BIG" motorcyle which sold in some European markets and in Canada for a couple years. The only thing new is the addition of Fuel Injection to the OLD MOTOR. They are just trying to pay for their castings they invested in 15 years ago. One thing is for sure, The vibration from a big single is HUGE......!

I could be wrong, but my bet is it'll be the same old engine.

 

It is a 700cc Four-valve, Twin cam, liquid cooled motor with EFI. I'm sure it will have a balance shaft. That doesn't sound like old technology. We'll see.
