Angry suzuki ozark 250 carb issues

picked up a 2006 Suzuki Ozark on the cheap last week. hadn't ran in a few years and had old gas in it. remove tank and clean, cleaned carb, cleaned pet ****. has what looks to be a vacuum line on the right side of carb and I cant figure out where it goes. when wheeler is idling I can put my finger over it and it dies. any ideas

It goes onto the petcock. Suzukis have a vacuum operated tap, don't run it on prime unless the tank has just been empty because, if the float needle sticks, it fills airbox and engine with fuel.

not on the left side the right side. I don't use the vacuum operated petcock, I do not trust the diaphragm design.
