Save your money and put in a mikuni #175 main. Set the factory needle to the richest position (bottom groove). Air screw out 3-4 turns. Leave the air box lid on! I have dynoed many combo's and this one works very well.

Thanks MisterHP,

I went to my local dealer, non-bombardier and he claimed that mikuni dose not make a 175 only in 10's (170,180,190) where do I need to look?

Thanks,
Tom

Eric, the mods must just delete ALL PM's sent to you because I sent you one. But I'll post it here for you:

I read in the jet kit thread where you said to use the stock needle in the richest position. Now I have the DJ needle on the leanest position and that's where it runs the best by seat of the pants feel. Should I just leave it alone or used the stock needle like you said? What is the advantage of the stock needle over the DJ needle? I figured it would be the other way around... Thanks.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Right now I have it at a 170 main jet and the needle it the stock position with the mixture screw at 3 1/2 turns and it flys.

Are the jets large round, or large hex type. Or dose it matter, Maybe that is why my local dealer could not find a 175 because he was looking at large hex type??

Thanks,
Tom
