Default 250r starting when cold

Is it normal to have alot of smoke coming out of the exhaust when starting in cold weather? Like alot?...

It takes forever to get warmed up...is this a normal characteristic for 250r's?....

also...I just put a pro circuit platnium pipe and a pro circuit forest spark arrested silencer on it...if I ride at around 2000-5000 ft above sea-level, what would be a good jetting setup?...any suggestions?

check out my 400ex and 250r:

Yes that is normal for a 2-stroke to do that. If thats all the mods you have then I would start off with 162 and go from there. Keep checking your plug also.
