i want a quad real bad. i want to stick with honda but not sure which one is good for a first time sport quad rider. i have a yamaha beartracker. i want a 300ex or 400ex. i was leaning toward a 400ex just because my friend that i ride with most of the time has a 400ex and i want to keep up with him, but it's my first time riding a sport quad so i don't know which would be a better quad for me i'm 16 5'11 175 lbs, and i still need to learn to use a clutch too so i don't know if that would be a factor of it too. oh and price i have about 4 gran right now and i was going till wait till after winter to buy it

i am looking for a 400ex right now if you go with anything smaller then that u will grow out of it really fast like i did. about the clutch thing i learned in a week with some vague help it just takes practice so i would say go for that

 

I would get the 400ex, and as the clutch i learned how to do it within a hour. You also might want to look into other quads(if you are planning on having around 6000) by next year look into the 450R, if you want to stay with Honda.
