I am around 200, land I can have a blast on a 300. But, it depends also on how tall you are. I am 5'7", and that is about the limit I would go on the 300. I would say probably you should go with something like a 400EX. Great trail bike!

The only thing the weight will severly impact will be your accelleration and hill climbing. As far as top speed, you probably aren't going fast enough for the added body size to severely effect top speed. I have ridden a 300ex and it felt slightly cramped to me. But not too bad. I was debating between a 300ex and the Warrior. The extra CCs made the decision easier (besides being pissed off at the Honda dealer.) Maintenance free? Everything involves maintenance. Some more then others.
