I've been waiting since June for the pipe shoot out! I want to get a Sparks but I live in California and I don't know what the dicipal level is.

I agree that there quad shoot outs are'nt always right. one will have one kind of tire while another has somthing else, and so on. But I do beleive that the Rapter pipe shoot out was right on the money. The only thing wrong with that shoot out was that I would have liked to have seen some other pipes in the mix.

 

Have you checked out the HMF silencer? You can get their quiet core and it knocks down the decibal level to 91db but only looses 5% of the HP gain from the silencer.

 

i would get the duncan fat boy, they have an in-house dyno and made their pipe for the best gains in everything, my friend has it is amazing, guys with this pipe tell me that it is really good but i never said it was quiet

 

I have a duncan fat boy 4 and it is fater than all the other pipes i have ridden,sparks,hmf,big gun,fmf,gytr. It's loud though. It woke my yfz up realy good in the midrange. It makes great all around power to.

 

i agree with ridely. shootouts seem unfair,speciall twards the pred. unless the quad you like wins

Actaully I have that issue of Dirt Wheels! And the Sparks did come in "first place", but it was the loudest.
The yoshi pipe came in second, but it was the quitest pipe so they went with the yoshi !!!

It's bad one of the best I think. I heard good stuff about the LTE dual exhaust though might try it.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

I think Dirtwheels brags on the gyt-r exhaust for the yfz in their latest magazine.

 

I will never by " gyt-r " parts again they don't back up their parts at all. The two peice swing arm skid plate is a $130.00 peice of garbage. Both sides are bent hitting the chain and the other hitting my disk brake. dealer said they would give my a different brand at cost $100.00.
