I just read the Feb Dirtwheels 450R review and they seem very impressed.....they had MANY positive things to say....it seems that in about every way it is superior to the yfz so far.....time will tell, but I am gonna have to start saving my money I think.

And, they didn't mention anything about the bike they rode having the power-up kit installed. They seemed to be impressed with the stock machine! Add a few more ponies, and it should be a real screamer.

 

I guess Honda finally stepped up to the plate after all these years.


Yep, they finally upped their advertising budget with Dirtwheels!!!!!

 

same with atv sport. They said that in stock form the honda is better than the yfz and with the hrc kit and gyt-r kit on them the yamaha did better. The rider cleared a 80 foot step up on the stock honda suspension.

 

Did they mention or hint about how much Honda paid them for that review?.... Dirty Wheels blows! Wait till ATV Sport has a review about the 450R, at least it will be honest..

What a lousy test. It's massive front suspension. LOL........ Even Dirtwheels can laugh at that statement. It has soooooooo much attention to detail. Fit and finsih is first rate. Really, heall I like big 20mm square head bolts protruding from my plastic. God It's so obvious how much they were paid to write that article. I never heard of a straightline comparison for pure speed. Why is that?? It's gonna get waxed by the YFZ is why.. If I was in the market I'd be buying a YFZ. Honda produced a better version of a Z400 is all w/o reverse..
