Maryland can kiss my a$$

I finally got tired of trying to find legal places in Maryland so I did the next best thing - I purchased 42 acres of prime land in West Virginia with full access to another 2500 acres next to my property.
Now, I will be spending tons more money in West Virginia on weekends and vacations starting with a 1200+ square foot log cabin.
One day, Maryland may wake up but in the meantime life is too short to wait and go through all the red tape of this ATV unfriendly state.

The land is near Augusta in Hampshire county. I needed land within a reasonable distance of Baltimore. I can't ride in Maryland State Property anymore. I am on "the list". We paid $150 each and luckily didn't get our quads hauled away because they couldn't get a tow company with a flatbed to come out Sunday afternoon. It was in Patapsco State Park.
Hoping to ride this weekend.

NOTU- Congrats on the purchase and happy trails. Hopefully you will have cool neighbors. My neigbors do not like me, i guess we play and have 2 much fun while they sit in there 500,000 dollar and more houses on a 1/4 acre. They put there houses on top of the hill and i bought the valley. (125 acres) They wanted the view for free. They get a view allright. lol

NOTU,
I lived in Maryland from '91 -'00. It seemed everything there is private land , I know the pain you're living. Everyone else I knew went to West Virginia for deer hunting etc....Now I llive in my home state of California were I don't need to ask anyone for permission to ride. Congrats on your land buy, I know you'll love it! So what if the women there only have a few teeth each, it's all good.
