Default 700 Gas Mileage?

Hello to everyone. I just bought an 04.5 700 sportsman camo and am wondering what I can expect from a tank
full. Thanks!

It really depends on how you drive it and whether you are in low or high range. Our 700s do about 22 mpg (60% high / 40% low range usage). That is driving at a pretty good clip, but not getting too crazy with the throttle. In cases where is its almost all low range or we are in high range, but really getting on the gas... it goes to about 16 mpg. I don't think I have ever seen it go lower than 14 mpg (in the worst of all conditions)

I'm averaging about 10 mpg on mine. Always strap on extra fuel ,just in case..

You shouldnt need extra fuel on 50-60 mile trips unless the majority of it is in Low range. I have a SP600 and I can go 50-60 before I even have to hit reserve. The 600 might use a tad less gas than the 700, but I'm usually in the throttle a whole lot. Still shouldn't be a problem. The last time I rode, combo of fast trails in High and rock crawling in Low, I went 46 miles on 2.1 gallons.

BTW where is Fries? Is that close to GW Nat'l Forest? That's where we ride sometimes, at Edinburg, VA. Nice place. Good luck.
