how much do u think i could get off my quad if i negotiate w/ the dealer ( 2004 250 ex ) running about $3400, and how much will they add on for taxes?

Are you asking how much you can get a dealer down on the price of a new 250 ex? OR Are you asking how much you can get as a trade in for a 250ex that you already own. I'm going to assume that you want to purchase a 2004 250ex. I would not pay anymore than retail price out the door. (Including everything- taxes, transfer, etc...) You should actually be able to get them down a couple hundred under retail "out the door". They may bring up the fact that Honda has recently reduced the retail price of certain models including the 250ex. Say the retail price is $3500.00 then try to aim somewhere between $3000. and $3500. including all normal cost "out the door". Of course it's always good if you can get them down a little more.
