Default ATV Titles by State

Question, How do you title an ATV purchased from a Non-Titled state? Is a Bill of Sale good enough? Which states are considered Non-Titled?
I live in Oregon where we have titles but don't have to register ATV - Go figure, anyway I may consider crossing state lines for the right bargan but want to be educated first if there isn't a State issued Title on the quad.

Thanx

Every ATV comes with a "MSO" Manufacturer Statement of Origin. If it is a non-title state, then the owner should have the Original MSO available to you. You can use this to obtain an Oregon Title along with a Bill of Sale. That is how dealers in Or. usually do it. You can also check out the OR DMV website (not sure the address) and they usually have info. on what you are looking for. Hope this helps!
