Thats a pretty broad question.
What do you require from your wheeler? (Are you going to be doing any work with it, or will it just be for play?)
Do you have a preference between 2-stroke & 4-stroke?
Is top speed a big concern or are you more interested in handling and light weight for jumping?

I bought a 2000 wolverine this past spring and am very happy with it.
I did consider the 500 scrambler (I tend to shy away from 2-strokes), but I wanted to be able to do some utility work (plowing snow, hauling firewood, etc..) and the lack of a low range on the scramblers made me a little skeptical as to how they would hold up being used beyond their intended purpose.

However, if your not interested in utility type work with your quad, then I think the scrambler would be the choice if you don't mind an automatic transmision.

Then I guess I would lean towards the scrambler.

Have you ridden both of these machines yet?
You also might want to consider a 2wd model, like the 2wd scrambler, 400ex, warrior, banshee, etc...
