Default i need a smoother landing

Yeah I’m almost 16, soon I’m gonna have a job. I need some aftermarket suspention for my quad. It’s an 02 rancher. The olny people i know of that sell suspention for utilitys where elka. But i asked them if they had any for the rancher and i got screwed. I’m not looking for a lift kit people. I need a smooth ride and smoother landings. A bent rim from clearing 30 feet aint gonna cut it (if my body has to stay on the quad im not going high enough). Please I need your help since I got screwed. I think elka should make it for most utilities if there gonna bother making any for any utilities. I would so greatly appreciate your help if you could provide any information needed. and yes this is alos posted in the utility atv section so please dont double post. thank you

You need to sell your Rancher and get something else if you want to be doing 30 foot jumps. The bottom line is that a Rancher is not designed make big jumps regardless of the shocks you put on it. This is want dirt bikes and sport quads are for.

Let's not even mention that you are probably going to kill yourself.

snowbuster,
Take everyones advice. Shocks are not going to make your rancher a sport quad. I used to do the same kind of stuff and all I did was trash the quad. Save your money and find an old Suz Quad sport 250R or Honda 250R. You can buy one for the amount of damage your going to do to that rancher.

Your going to complete trash it and once its to the point where it wont run or go in a straight line for whatever reason, is going to be about the time when you can sell it. If you really want a new quad bad enough, stop jumping this one and try to keep it in as good a shape as you can until you can sell it. The better shape its in, the more money you'll get out of it.

Alright people. I CANT sell the rancher, its my parents money. I’m gonna have to get a job and save, that’s life. Yes, Trx250Time, elka does make utility suspension. I have emailed them asking if they do make suspension for my rancher. They have replied, saying NO. I don’t see if I get new shocks and I get the right setting on them how there wont be a soft landing. Trust me I don’t plan to do 30 feet again. It’s too rough on my jewels. But I only got a slightly bent rim. I don’t see how much more damage could happen. I figure after a month of a job I would be able to get the shocks, and I will! Lol, and works seem like the only people. So the question is. W/out all the goodies like rezzies and rebound adjustment. And there chart-o-goodies how soft and how adjustable is my ride gonna be? please answer my question be4 giving opinions, I appreciate all your help so far and for responding so promptly. thank you
