Wondering if it is safe to add 2 more lights like pia or something like that to a 01 ds with a stock electrical system, I dont want to take a chance on burning any thing up, How many watts are safe

The stock Stator generates 290 watts @ around 3500 rpm. It's the best stock ATV Stator on the market.
If all you have is the stock headlight, and your high beam is a 100 watt bulb, then you can run additional lights with no problem.
I would not go more than a total of 275 watts total with everything on.
If you want more light than that I would recommend you contact TrailTech. They have HID lights that generate more light with less wattage required.
