Lectron 46hv...just the facts
I am considering this carb. but it is a considerable chunk of change. I have read all kinds of claims here on the forums, everything from 4hp to 10hp and to 6 to 10 bike lengths to its not worth the money. I am confused. I am not dissing anyones claims guys, but what is the truth?

Check out Buttfungus' profile page. He made 51hp at the rear wheels with the 46hv and ported intake. The ported intake is worth 2hp. Stock Ds make around38-41hp. at the rear wheels.

Fact: The 46HV is the highest horsepower bolt on I have ever seen on the dyno.
Fact: The dyno sheet's on BF's web page are real world.
Now to get more facts you need to talk to the people who have one on their bike.

I'm kinda bummed with mine. It found out my clutch was border line and identifyed it in short order.
I guess all those hours of my kid and his friend dragging up dumont comp hill took their toll. Last 3-4 trips I suspected the clutch was loose, but the extra MRHP, was a little to much. Ok, so maybe I did the hill once or twice...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
now for a new clutch set-up so I can really enjoy this hop-up next weekend.
The truth is, few hop-ups in this price range will rip your arms off. This one will pull harder in a gear you had trouble with on the big sand. I've ridden cam'd/compressioned bikes that their mod cost over twice this and still didn't really impress me.
What ever Annihilator did to his bike, now that looks like something that is hard to hang onto...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
