yeah, reverse, liquid cooling, dohc. then you have a quad that friggin rips. and it'll smoke a z400. but the 400ex we all no of the way it is right now is better than the suzuki if you ask me.

They lowered the price and put a bigger carb on it, so I think it will still sell pritty good. There real fun. Just not the fastest of everything. There bullet prouf and always seem to start up and run great, and have great handling.

When did Honda ever make any major changes to a model in the past? The 400EX will be Hondas bread and butter bike for years to come. It is the king of the sport quads, or the bargain performance quad, take your pick. It's a solid bike in a solid market niche, now that they dropped the price.
Dealerships around here don't keep any (sport) bike on the floor for very long. They will sell every one they can turn out!!

I think the 400 will be around for a while. However, I don't see the 300EX lasting much longer. It seems that people buy the 250EX as a beginner and then step up to the 400EX, completely skipping the intermediate 300. I don't know of anyone personally that has bought a 300 in the past two years.

the 400ex was the first quad that started all of this new craze in high performance 4 strokes, it would be just wrong to stop making them, just because they are so reliable and semi fast and the fact that they are a honda makes them sell just as fast as a raptor or z 400, thats why honda waited so long to come out with the 450r, cause they were still making a killing selling the 400ex, reverse and some more power would be nice, but for now im happy with mine, i think honda will be making that quad for a while, especially if they are selling them so cheap, its the perfect quad for the money
