im getting realy sick and tired of all the bogus quad sales that are going up on ebay in the UK at the moment it seems to be happening every day week in week out,
i would realy like to be able to get in touch with ebay and let them know about any adds i come across but i cant find any referene to any one who might deal with bogus adds
the adds are so transparent and obvious its almost laughable, bit its realy pissing me off,
what can i doo

Try sending an e-mail to spoof@ebay.com This is their fraudulent mail site and it's the closest thing I can think of. If that doesn't work, try to find the e-mail address for the safeharbor team at eBay. Another good way to get rid of auctions that you know are fraud (and a lot more fun) is to send the "seller" an e-mail chewing out their ad a little bit and mentioning that eBay has been notified and they are tracing the source of the ad to take actions. The results might suprise you. Hope this helps!

Just an idea but you could check there feedback and if they have 100% and you still think its fake then send someone that bought an item from them and ask them how there tansaction went.

I known that people are having their ID stolen so that the fraudsters can seem like reliable traders that have good feedack and just the kind of trader that we would all prefer to trade with,
i managed to report a few scams last week that were quickly removed, it wasnt as simple as just dropping a mail to a certain department, its prety much a case of making a compaint and following the apropriate options,
ive got a bid in at the moment on on something and was approached today out of the blue by someone offering to sell me the exact same item for less than my current bid, claimed they were based in Paris France and would ship for free, payment by moneygram or weston union,
i replied saying i was realy keen, and it wouldnt be a problem for me to bring my van thru the channel tunnel and pay cash on collection and make my own arrangements to get it to the UK,
as you would expect i havent had a reply
i think the biggest tip to keep safe would be to just not deal internationaly and know matter what even if you wernt actualy able to do it always sound them out about collecting it in person and paying cash on collection,
nobody can give a valid reason for not wanting you to pay cash on collection,
if your thinking of dealing abroad insist on paypal, you cannot operate a paypal account without registering a bank account against it, so it makes the accout holder traceable,
if your thinking of dealing with someone abroad tell them you have a relative at a us army base stationed in there country and they would be more than happy to collect the wheeler and pay cash on the day, and that they can get things shipped for free thru military supply lines
