what quad is faster if any than a pred in a drag race and in top speed

 

Stock for stock????? I would say that a DS650 has a higher top speed. A quadzilla should be easily able to take one in a drag (if its running right[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]) But for the most part, the quads that are out on the market are SOOOOO close in performance that it really comes down to the rider

i would stick with the new YZF 450 or take a look at the new honda TRX 450, stick to the four strokes they are alot more reliable then an older quadzilla 500. Just push the button and go, thats the way to do it

 

a pred can beat any bike thats out there stock to stock. I work at a polaris dealership. My best friend rides one easily beat a raptor, any honda, the 450, the ds650 is close but it can still pull ahead. However a modded banshee will smoke a pred. My friend was racing up by Chico and was in 4th gear when the turn came up, he was racing a banshee and thought he could get ahead cuz the banshhee was slowing down. Well hairpin turn my friend went 150 off the hill and was hellicoptered out. THe banshee is to fast. But the pred is the best! for 6000 nothing can touch it. Then if u take and put as much into as other bikes u would be no other.

 

I've never ridden a pred but I rode a friends moded 04 YFZ 450 and that thing is so fast it's scary. I may get to see just how fast it is this weekend. I'm sure he'll get the chance to line up against several others. There's usually a few banshee's and raptor's where we ride and they like drag racing.

The only thing that comes close is the DS and i still beat it

 

A cheetah is faster....if you have the ***** to laso one and jump on it.....it can obtain a speed of approximately 90 mph for a short burst......hope that helps [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Ok I have another question..I don't know anywone that owns a pred...so I havn't really experienced it..but my buddy has the new v-force 700...how does the pred match up to the v-force stock to stock?

 

This thread cracks me up. With equal riders, a Predator will not beat a DS650.

And a cheetah doing 90 in a short burst? Right!! The fastest a cheetah has been clocked is 71 mph.
