I did my best not to post on this thread due to a lot of bold comments that are tough to support. However, as to the DS comment, the Predator WILL out run the 650. When the first V-force showed up in Tulsa, we raced the Predator & the DS against it. We even rotated riders several times. Every race (drag) had the exact same result: Predator, DS, V-force. The DS did run a close second but never beat the Predator with any of the three riders.

Jump on a Predator and do a drag with a turn in it. That would elimnate a Banshee, Raptor, DS650, V-Force and a Quadzilla.

 

Look ...not to through gas on the fre but my brother has a DS....piped, CDI box, customer air box, and jetted.....I stomped him repeatedly in Silver Lake sand dunes....he is a better rider than me....in fact, he then took my bike and beat the Cannondale that I was unable to beat.....DS is a good bike but when you pipe a Pred...no chance

it is hard to say every one will say there quad is the fastest but i think the lt500r would have to be the fastest those things would be scary to ride i know someone s that was so fast that cars were scared to race it

that is funny about the cheetah. I used to watch every wildlife show that was on.

I still disagree about a Predator beating the DS. Not saying that because I have a DS, but because I have run against 5 different Predators and riders. If they did beat me, it was because I missed a gear or lofted the front end at the start. They are incredibly quick for a 500 cc machine, but just not as quick as a stock/properly tuned DS.

 

I'd say DS and pred are about equal. DS MIGHT be a little bit faster.

 

Stock to stock, I have never had a predator come close to my DS650BajaX. I raced my predator w/MBRP race pipe, jetted, K&N and 116 fuel against stock DS650 and lost time and time again. Hence the reason for trading the Predator in. Havent lost to a Predator yet.

I did like the predator better in the woods and the "slingability" of it surpassed the DS, but I mostly ride on the sand. And there, the DS is King.
