best tire for desert racing?
Don't even have to think twice about this one. The ITP Holeshot XC's and XCT's have won Baja over and over!! I have run both, but my personal preference is the XC's.

I don't disagree with the poster above.
I like them and, if you take a look at the photos from the recent desert races, that seems to be the thinking.

I plan on building a car similar to the attached pic with a hot raptor 660r motor. Plan to race nevada/arizona area when car is complete.

Odyssey was the model before the Pilots. I know, they are a blast. Don't know why they quit making 'em.
The car I'm building is wider (66") and longer (120") than the pilots.
