Default New tires

Okay so I'm looking for new tires for my Honda trx300ex atv. The front tires size is 22x10-7. I found some front tires at size 21x10-7. Is that a big difference. Will it matter? Thanks. The tires I'm looking at are off a 400ex.

The bigger tires give a little better ride, i.e. they don't fall as far into the holes and roll over smaller bumps easier. I believe Honda has the front end geometry set up for 22 front, 20 rear on many of their sport quads. 21" front are going to be easier to find. You probably won't notice much in the way of ill effects with these, other than a little less ground clearance.

So they will fit? And it won't ruin my quad?

Yes they will fit. No they will not cause harm to your machine.

You only lose 1/2" of ground clearance with a 1" smaller tire. You won't likely notice the difference.

You might want to start a new thread for this in the Honda section.

4 years old and it was about tires, not going to see too much in replies here.
