Tire sealer...Do you use it?

Locally, Slime is 50 bucks a gallon........Flat Guard is 30
I use the flat guard , just cuz the price.......does the same job
I was riding down by the river last summer and ran across an old footing
with a 1/4 inch rebar sticking strait up.........went into my front tire to the rim
backed off it and stuck two tire plugs in and drove 3 miles to a friends
house to get some air
I wouldnt go anywhere without slime/flat guard and a plug kit

It's a decent investment if you trail ride and or rock crawl at slow speeds. If you ride at higher speeds, it will give you nasty vibrations. Also, if you ever have your tires changed at a dealer/tire outlet, the guy doing the change will come out and greet you, with the stuff all over him, and most likely want to give you a bloody nose.
I remember I had some tires changed, and forgot that they had slime in them. The guy doing the change came out of the shop, wiping slime off of his shirt. He was PO'd. He was holding my rim, and said " I can charge you $10 to clean the rim, or you can do it, and save $10. The rim was covered with slime, and after I had apologized over and over, I bummed some paper towels off of him, and cleaned it myself.

well i put it in 3 of the tires on my 87 LT250R and i ride the road a good bit and i ride at higher speeds and it holds up just fine. as far as the extra vibrations go, i can't really give my opinion on that because i dunno about other fellow 250R owners, but i know that this LT vibrates like hell and i won't ride it till i get a steering damper or Vibastop thing like that on my Honda 250R.

Guys, the liquid green tire sealer is really a bad idea with aluminum rims. It will pit the inside of the rims until it finally eats through the metal and then your rims are worthless. If you have a slow leak, the best investment is a Craftsman air tank.
