Default LTE Raptor exhaust glows???

Ok heres the story... I have an 03 raptor that I ordered the LTE dual exhaust kit for .It came with a jet kit and I also bought the K&n air filter kit. I installed it all and deleted the air box lid..The jetting is now a 155 in the left carb and 160 in the right.I set the needles on the 4th ring down(there are 6 slots on the new needles). I noticed when it was dark, the header pipes glow for about the first 8-12 inches. It does glow a little more when you rev it. Also there seems to be some back smoke ,so i`m thinking its got plenty of fuel..I`m in S florida it was about 45-50 out that night.I raised the needles as far as I can thinking it might be a lean condition. It didn`t seem to help. I did try to call LTE and left a message ,though it was friday night I didn`t expect a response till monday. I`ve tried all week to contact them with no success. (now weds night)I was hoping for a little customer support. No luck so far with that. So now i`m asking for some thought of what I should do to correct this ,or could this really be normal???I rode it all weekend with no problems and didn`t notice any glow while riding..It really hauls now ,and I love the pipes..But I wonder if i`m going to trash something..Thanks for any help you can give me..

could be cheap or thin pipe's normaly aftermarket uses thinner wall pipe than stock to reduce weight...this may or may not be cheap stuff but it will glow some... how much i dont know (my dg glows about 1 to 2" up the head pipes

Weekend,
you talked about the mains and the needles but you did not say anything about the pilot jets!

Bump up the pilot jet since you are running after market pipe. might need to go up one point or two....

how does it run? have you tried to ride it yet? Ride it and then post your results. Do not ride it long if it doesnt feel right like a hesitation or stumble. Judging by the jets if they are mikuni you are probably going to run lean throughout with that setup in the lower temps.

I have just a slip on, e-series and in the cold weather it ran decent with 155/160. But it was way to lean in the pilot.

So the only real way to tell is to ride it and do a plug test also.

Yep, pilots should probably be 25, 4th clip for needles, and 160/165 or 165/170 for the mains. My Yosh headpipe always glows at night. That is pretty normal with a 4stroke and stainless steel headers

It ran great, never stumbled or hesitated...I`ll pull the plug to see what it looks like...I`ll also see about that pilot jet set-up. I think I will buy a few more main jets and play with that and see what happens ,but i`m checking the plug first..I`ll let you know what I find...The pipes are bad$ss though..Thanks for the tips...
