I am interested in buying a nice used banshee for the dunes and am woundering what the going rate of a used banshee is??? Also what year range is the best??? Any info would be great THANKS!!!

 

Price range could be from $1000 to $5000 just depends. Get years from 1991 till now. I just purchased a 2001 Banshee for $200 with a blown engine. Damn the luck!!!

Ernie660, killer deal, where I'm from they pay $500 for just a striped down frame that has papers.

 

damn right your luckey.lol...i would of bought it in a second. i bought mine for 2300. look for a newer one for 2000-3000 cuz a quad can go through alot of abuse in 5 or more years, and banshee's usally get beat pretty bad. damn maybe you'll get lucky like ernie. if you find one for 200 dollars like that buy it and never look back.

 

I just bought a '97 running from a guy that needed money for $1000, had new T-5's on it. A friend bought a basket case for $650 with a lot of aftermarket parts, and a basketcase with bad tranny for $1650, that had about and hour on a new $2400 motor. Another friend just bought a '97 that was said to be blown up (ended up being the flywheel had came off) for $1000. Two years ago though, I bought a '99 for $4000, but it had triple rate shocks, and a LOT of other aftermarket stuff and I fell in love with it at first sight (big mistake).
