Ken what piston clearance do I need on 400 big bore with swain tech coating. I know you have used it so I thought
I would ask somebody with first hand experiance.

Jack, Actually back when I was going to have a piston coated, three of the local Polaris techs warned me to steer clear of coating the piston. I have heard of many people having good luck with the process, but when the three amigo's from the busiest Polaris shop in MN told me don't......that kinda made up my mind for me. Otherwise the "big bores" (.120 over or more) will require .00425 to .00450 clearance.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Sorry Ken.
