cheapest price on a 450r

6499 at Broken Arrow, OK- No setup fees- Just couldn't wait for the Bartlesville price. They said I was like 15 on the list a few months ago, so I went with Green Counry in Broken Arrow. I kinda ho-hummed around about buying one, but after seeing one in person, I couldn't help it and went ahead and closed the deal.

briansgi- I didn't see it there on Friday, the only one I saw was at Green Country's booth. Besides, I didn't like dealing with the guys at Honda of Tulsa. I had talked to them a few months ago. They wanted a 500 non-refundable deposit right then, and wouldn't give me any kind of solid figure on my 400ex as a trade. Honda of Tulsa was like, we'll give you between 2 and 3 for your 400ex, stock of course but we'll see when the 450R arrives. They wouldn't even put that in writing, though. Even if they saw the quad prior and the quad stayed in the same condition, they were like "the value of your 400ex could drop down to the low side of 2k by the time the 450R arrives. I just had a really bad feeling about those guys. At least the salesperson I was dealing with, I can't remember his name, but I saw him at their booth on Friday.
I've always dealt with Steve Travis at Green Country Honda. He is one of the managers, but he has always treated me real good and to me that is worth quite a bit. He said he would give me 3k for the stock 400ex months ago and said go ahead and ride it. Just make sure it's not screwed up when I bring it in, he has seen the bike since and was like no problem. Also, I only had to put down a $100 deposit.
He just wanted to make sure he got a working quad with normal wear for an 02.
My buddy ended up with the front works shocks and nerf bars for his 400ex for very cheap (labor and a stock pipe). I kept the WB pipe and kill switch. I appreciate the info though, I'll let my friends know in case they change their minds.
