Anybody running their Recon without the front rack??? Ours got bent in a wreck, and we never use them anyway. Rather than replace it with another heavy/expensive new one, I thought I would just put on a nice light DG aluminum 250EX bumper. But, the mounts for the front plastic and lights, are an integral part of the rack.

So, how did you brace your plastic??? Am I stuck having to fabricate some mounts myself????
