Farr won his second race of the season on the 450r in california saturday dominating the field.
I guess the TRX isnt a very good racer.

you have to remember that Tim Farr is probably the best rider out there and his 450r is no where near close to stock because money is no object for honda. The closest thing to stock on his bike is his plastic

 

Tim has been riding the stock 450 for awhile now and still has not been able to break one. I am in northest Ohio and Baldwin and Honda both urged him to ride the heck out of it and see what problems/ weak spots there were. None reported. The bike is one solid piece, all the way around. He even rode the very close to stock unit that won Baja and the thing is still in one piece and running as strong as ever!

The 450R has a lot of bottom end, so one would expect it to do exceptioanlly well on short, sprint type tracks.

 

Yes TIM farr won!!!! HONDA didnt magically drive itself to victory!!! He did, give HIM props!!!! He could win on any machine, INCLUDING the YFZ!

 

Yeah probably, but not so easily..How Honda dominates things is incredible. You pair the best riders with the best pieces and they ride to victory over and over again... Like there is nobody else on the track
