Starter Removal Help

Starter Removal Help
I have a 96 Xplorer 400 2 stroke 4x4. I have messed up the starter and need to know how ro remore it. Do I need to remove the clutch AND the pull starter sides of the engine or can I gat to it another way? Any help is great as I am new to the forum.
