Doesn't it already do that? Or do you mean make it full time? so you can have it in 4 wheel drive even when you don't really need it?

I believe atving means, "command," in contrast to "demand."

"Command," as in the Suzuki King Quad/Quadrunner 250 4X4 system; under rider command through control levers, these Suzuki machines may be placed into 4WD with locked front axles.

Atving, why don't you go to your local Polaris dealership, and if they have an extremely knowledgable technician there, ask him how the 4wd system works, and ask him how to achieve what you're wanting. According to my calculations, If you want absolutely no slip, then you need to put 23" tires on the rear of your bike, and 28" tires on the front. That will overcome the difference in gearing to where the fronts will actually be pulling moreso than the rear. However, good luck on getting the 4wd to disengage. What I wish is that everybody that complains about the 4wd not being "command" would just sell their quads and buy them a Honda. Read this a few times over donuts and coffee until it sinks in, atving.

my...my aren't we testy...me along with about 70% of the other people on here would just like to see this addition on the bike...You have to admit everyone that rides a Polaris has seen one situation at one time or the other where they would have been able to put the 4 wheel drive in manually. I was rideing on the road beside the rail tracks where there was this big hole and every time I would give it the gas the rear end would slip over to the hole, where as if I could have engaged the front end manually it would have helped me get by easier, instead of just gunning it and hopeing for the best...And I like those donuts with the little sprinkles on them with my coffee, seems your the only one that took this post in an insulting manner. If you read my other post "what would you like to see Polaris do to improve there bike" seems I am not the only one that would like to see some changes...but I wouldn't trade my Polaris for 2 Hondas.
