Banshee Paddles question
#1
This is my first post. I have a Banshee, it's stock right now, but I plan on adding Toomey pipes and jets. I mostly ride on sand with some trails. Live in Oklahoma near Tulsa and plan on going to Little Sahara. So I want to get some paddles. I'm thinking about Extreme Haulers, and I think I'm going to get the 21x12x8.
How many paddles should I get? 8, 9 or 10? Which one has more traction? I read that the smaller number of paddles the more traction, but I'm not sure if that's right. Also do I want more or less traction for riding at little Sahara? I know that sounds like a newb question.
I weigh 190lbs by the way.

And how about the Edge tires? 20x10 or 21 x12? Which will be better on a Banshee? Shorter and narrower or taller and wider? 6,7,8 or 10 paddle? WTF? there are too many choices.
And what about teh Sand Skate II? They only come in 20x11x10 and 20x11x8.

The 8 paddle regular haulers in that size will do you quite well. It will be all the paddle you need for that setup. If you plan on doing more mods in the near future, then go to the 9 or 10 paddle. With that large tire there will be considerable more rollout and you might need to gear it up a tooth or two in the rear.Bubba

I hope someone can tell me about what effect more paddles have. I mean does a 9 paddle tire have more or less traction than an 8 paddle tire, if they are the same size otherwise? Thank you.

Izord, We have a Banshee with T-5 pipes, jetted and K&N air filter. I have ran 8 paddle reg. haulers and 9 paddle edge's on it. They are almost the same in traction but the edges do give a little more plus they are real good for carving the dunes. these are both 20 inch tires.
