my friend is buying a quad real son and wants to know what u guys think about these quads..he will be riding with my cuz he lives 2 houses away from me, me and him ride trails, snow(in winter) and some jumping here and there. If you guys could tell me what are good and bad about these quads and maybe the top speeds..here are the deals he currently has....
1. 02 Stock Raptor = $3450
2. 03 Z400 modded = $4000(lives about 15-20 minutes away from my house)
3. 02 416EX modded = $3750

I would look at the Z and the Rappy and see what mods are done on the Z and cost of mods. Look at the shape of the machines and take it from there. I would normally say Rappy right away but the Z is a nice machine and there would be no reason buying a beat up Rappy when you can get a modded Z in good shape..OR vice versa! Take the best machine for the money!

The Z sounds nice, but one again I would have to see both machines and see which one is in better shape. If the Z has been taken care of and the Rappy is a little rough then I would go with the Z, but then again if this Z is a little rough around the edges and the Rappy is clean then I would go with the Rappy.

If they are both in about the same shape and even with the mods the Z has I would have to go with the Rappy.

They are both in really good shape the Z is a brand new 04..the kid showed me pics and it looks great..the Raptor was so clean..both looked really nice no rust
