Now didn't they used to sell for like $350 or so? I sure as hell wouldn't pay over that for any exhaust, I don't care what it's supposed to do........I like my PT, Fat Boy pipe and silencer, and I heard a long time I ago when I was debating what to get it's the best "all 'round" pipe, if there is such a thing for a 2 stroke, but the only thing about a LRD is if it's the adjustable drag pipe that would be more favorable over the PT

Thats not a suprise, I payed $410 for mine unchromed about 4 years ago. Also, I see the chrome ones going for $500+ used. It is high, but I would probably pay it again because I know how good of a pipe it is. All the power that a out of frame drag pipe makes, and the convinence of in frame, and they look cool.

A buddy of mine had the Trinity pipe for a short while, it didnt have near the top end hit of the LRD. Felt a lot like the PT, but a little louder.
I ended up TIG welding my LRD pipe together (in the top-end setting), no more leaks. I have heard that MP Racing had LRD specially make them a handfull of thier pipes, but as a 1-piece unit.

Hmm, good to know!
I really don't have good info on the trinity... was going primarily by the shape of it (and a recomendation by a very reliable source) that it should be a 'decent' pipe.
I hate to have ANY positive advertising for Trinity because of a previous raping I received from them.
I haven't ever ran the LRD (yet) so I can't really say if I'm happy with it or not. I too have thought about TIG welding it together as I hate leaks.
MP might be the place to look as long as you didn' t want the adjustability... wonder what they are asking?
Good info!

At 625.99$ they wont be selling any to poor people like me. That's more than I originally paid for the whole Quad.
