Hello.Im Miguel Angel and I live in Spain.
Recently,I bought a Unilli CX 50,The same that Alpha sport LG 50,Aeon Cobra 50,and very similar that Polaris Scrambler 50,the engine is identical,no the plastic.
I have a Yamaha Banshee and I have two children with 6 and 9 years old.
My children´s riden on my Banshee for the last years,wih my supervise,of course and they have a minimoto Polini 911 and Mecatecno Hurricane 49 upgrade to 74 cc.
When I bought the miniquad,quickly note the low power and my children want more power,I too.
I know this engines perfectly because are mount on the european scooter type Yamaha Jog,Jog R,Sonic etc,etc.Are minarelli horizontal cilinder engines.
Along the time,on the internet,look for upgrades and more parts and I saw that the most comun web´s are abpout shops in USA.
Well,The prices are very very expensives,much more that here.Ony you have to visit for example,www.animotos.com or www.scooter.es.There are infinity to parts for this machines,look for Yamaha Jog,remember.The prices are in euros,more or less than dollar USA
When I recopiled a lot of information,buy for my miniquad the parts bellow:
-Metrakit cilinder kit upgrade to 70 cc with head high compression.arround 140 euros.Parts CI/Y 42645
-Dellorto complete PHBG carb 21DS mm.60 euros
-Metrakit competition variator .35 euros
-Roller kit,3g,5,6,7.5g and 8g.6 euros each one
-Torque spring Malossi red,the mos hig,12 euros
-Cluch spring hig about 3 euros
-Sproket.I buy a lot of pinion and sproket.Pinion of 16,17,18 and 19 teeth and sproket that 44,36,31,28 etc.The sprocket at 4 euros and pinion at 2 euros.This pinion and sproket you have to work with a lathe because are only with the teeh and smaller hole on the centre.I have a lathe and I havent any problem.
-Chain,5 metres at 35 euros.
-Motion pro gas control at 20 euros with cable.
-Exhaust,hand made with two silencer,same that my banshee arround 100 euros.
-Air filter,Malossi competition at 6 euros.
All this parts,I mounted on my quad,with 5 grames roller and sprocket relation 36 and 17 teeth.
Run very very speed and have a lot power.I install this sproket and pinion because for a children,run very speed,about 40 mph.I probe other pinions and sproket a run very much.
When my clid start,hop up the fronts tires along any metres.My child have very goo control and run very secure.
