the 250r is 10 time better and has more and better aftermarket parts.

the 250r eh? You need to tell him which one....the trx250r is considered the basis for all frame geometry in sport quads. Until the surge of performance 450cc class 4 stroke quads availible, virtually all professional riders used rebuilt or built from aftermarket trx 250r quads. The honda is considered possibly the greatest 4 wheeler of all time, and the best all around performer of its day. And yes, aftermarket parts are much more availible and cheaper for the trx as well.
