The Ozark cost more than the others in its class but it's worth it! It's very capable and very fun to ride. I ride mine pretty hard and never had a problem with it. Tough little machine! Buy it with confidence because you will enjoy it. The only other 250 that can compare is the Recon and its a nice machine as well...............

The Ozark is the best 250 sport/ute out there. The only one close is the Recon, which you may want to consider only because Honda dropped the prices this year. There is no rear dif on the Ozark, just a solid axle like most of them. I think it's the Kawi 250 that is set up to lock/unlock the rear dif to make it a one wheel drive.

The weight ratio of a ozark is 403 pounds dry weight and that is 2 wheel drive. It is a 246cc with a 29mm Carberator{ I think} and a towing capisity of only about 500 to 550 pounds... Cmpression of 9.2:1.. gas tank 2.80 gallon
The wight ratio of a wolverine is 477 pounds dry and it is 4 wheel drive{ Making it one of the lightest 4x4 made} a 348c with a 34mm Carb, A towing capisity of 728.. compression 9.2:1.. gas tank 3.4 gallons
PROS-Lighter ZARK( with onky 2wd)
Easier to Whelie ZARK
CONS-Bigger gas tank WOLVERINE
BIgger Cubic Cenitmeter egine WOLVERINE
Bigger Carberator WOLVERINE
Bigger Towing capisity WOLVERINE
As for prices you can find a perfectly nice used wolverine for around the same price as a Zark. Im not saying any of them are bad machines but dont leave out the big dog yet. She might be outdated but she sure can run !!!!

JBomb - Had I said that the 'zark was the best sport/ute out ther I'd see the reason for your post...but I didn't. With a 350 engine, 4wd and a much higher price tag, the Wolverine is a totally different class of machine - and yes, the Wolverine is better in almost every way when compared to an Ozark.
I stand by my assessment of the Ozark as the best of the 250 class of sport utes out there. While mine is used mostly by my wife or oldest son, I will sometimes "borrow" the 'zark just to play around with or to drive it through a difficult area beyond their riding skills. I continue to be impressed with the handling of this little machine and hope to get a second Ozark sometime soon.

Hay man it is well worth the money.I have had mine for about a year it hasn't broken down once (knock on wood). The only thing i don't like about it is tha it isn't 4wd.There great for trail riding if you don't get into deep mud.

first of all lets get back to the guys question. hey i would get the honda because it is proven to be reliable, the ozark has been proven too because i beat the crap otta my suzuki 250. but if it was me the honda would be in the picture because of a lower price tag same reliability and yet again the fastest top speed in its class, and when your with your friends sometimes u wanna be able to keep up
