Default Suzuki Ozark 250!

We have both the Recon and the Ozark. The Recon is a great machine.....BUT..... the Ozark does everything better. Its faster, better suspended, stronger and handles better. Both machines are really good, but I'd pick the Ozark over the Recon. This coming from a family with both quads in the stable. I had a Wolverine too, and yes, its in a totally different class.........The Ozark is a great machine, you will love it.

No way is the Recon faster. We've dragged both of them. The Ozark always wins, no matter who is driving it. The Recon is a 2000, I guess the newer ones have a little more pep because they gave the Recon the 250EX's slightly hotter motor mods. The Recon is a great machine but like I said, the Ozark is better. Perhaps a newer Recon ( with the 250EX's mods)would be a little more competition, but I still think the Ozark would win.

just out of curiosity, how's the Ozark compared to the Yamaha bear-tracker? My wife is thinking about getting another quad, and I was lookin at the Ozark, but a freind of mine has a bear-tracker, and it's OK, but I'm hoping the Ozark is better.

alright the first thing im gonna say if your looking for an ozark, if you got the money get the new one the 02 was a pile of junk, mine was broken in 6 places after a year of riding and litttle jumping but i got the upgrade frame in 03 and it has held up beautifully, it also has tonsss of power, wheelies very easily to get over puddles and water, oh yea and the ozark has 728 of towing capacity yes same as wolverine look it up i dont feel like argueing lol..

In my opinion the Ozark would be alot better than the Beartracker. It will be stronger, faster, better suspension and handle better. The only thing the beartracker has is, its a little bigger machine (roomier) and it has bigger racks. You can really lug down the Ozark but then just give it a little gas and it picks itself right back up with out down-shifting. Often my daughter will start out in third gear sometimes. She weighs about 100 lbs. She loves it. I really enjoy riding it myself. I definitly choose the Ozark over any 250 class machine out there. I use to own a 220 Bayou and my wife has a Recon. The Ozark is better. Get an Ozark!

By the way, since you are from Ohio. Try calling Romney Cycle in Romney West Virginia 304 822 3933 I payed $2900 for my daughters last year. They are usually $400-$700 under retail. They DON'T charge a set up fee. They sell Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Make sure they have the ATV you want in stock. They sell alot of Atv's. They told us they sell between 20-30 every Saturday. Its worth the drive. Good Luck!

Just call and ask a price. Compare it. They do run out of certain models. You have to call and make sure they have what you want in stock before you make a trip there. Compare their price to your dealers price.
