Default Trail Blazer Swing Arm

It looks like I am going to have to change the swing arm bushings on my 2001 250 TB. Has anyone done this? If so how much did to you have to take off to get to it? I can see the bolt on the chain side but not the one on the clutch side. Do you have to take the clutch housing off or can you get to it from underneath? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to pop both clutches off. You can "tweak" the rear clutch cover to get behing, but it's best to remove them both. You'll need an 1"3/4 socket w/ a breaker bar....cheater pipe can also help. I would strongly suggest getting a maint. manual from your dealer for the torque specs. Also make sure to throroughly clean (degrease w/ brakeclean) the threads and us red....not blue, but red loctite. Not a hard job at all, just take your time, and pay attention to details.
