Has anyone put the new ITP Sandstar on the front of a DS yet?

 

no I havent but i was thinking the same thing

 

GO SKATTRAK SMOOTH BUFFS LIGHEST WEIGHT TIRE AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM TURNING IN THE SAND

 

how large do those come they look like they would work good , the smooth do work good on the ds

 

I think they only come to a 21. I want a 22. Sandman, you know that I like sidehilling. I just dont think the smooth buff would work well for me becaused of the turns that I do. I want something that turns sharper than the dunetracker I had on my other bike. My stock tires worked better than that one.

Get the 22/8/10 GBCs, work great, great price! Anything smaller, and the DS will want to nosedive in the deep steep soft stuff.

I had them on my DS the last trip I took. I got the 22/8/10. They are big and fat and so they float very well. The cornering is second to none now. I would reccomend them to anyone. If anyone was wondering if it is worth getting front sand tires, the answer is yes. The ds is heavy and they like to plow without sand tires.

What size front wheels are you guys running with the 22x8x10's? Is it the same size wheel that 21x7x10 tire uses?
