well i flipped my ds and i have deep scrathees on the plastic how cani get these out

 

You don't...

 

replace the plastic

or try and burnish it with a buffer

then replace the plastics

 

Or, if the deep scratches are in the rear fender, trim them and you have a new set of dune fenders!!

try to wet sand it, but u are prob going to have to buy new ones

 

That scratch remover stuff works for not very deep scratchs but for deep ones u might of well forget it. The scratch remover works good if u dont ride much because getting on and off takes away the shine.

 

i replace all the plastic on mine with new oem plastic and the price really wasn't that bad $375 for all of it.

 

I have the solution....... Just stay on the gas and no one will ever see those scratches ! Seriously though, I have seen a couple of "repair" jobs with those plastic repair kits, the ones I have seen did not look very good. The other solutions on this post are what I recommend (ie. wet sand, buff, pray) or save the dough and get new plastics (which you will sooner or later scuff and want to replace again). I guess I have a different attitude towards it........ I loke my quad to look good, but I am more interested in how it performs. If it were me I would make do unless I had some extra money with nothing else to spend it on. If nothing else they will provide for a good conversation piece....this happened when... If they were busted and falling off replace them other than that the only one that really notices is you. Good luck with getting the scratches out.
