I have a 350x swingarm and I need to know what year it is. Someone told me that there is a difference between the 85 and the 86. Nobody in my area can give me any help. Is there a difference and how do I check it out. I don't have a 350x to look at.

 

I don't think there's a difference at all. I've never heard of this before.

There is no difference between the 85 and 86 swing arm. Colors changed and gear ratios and that's about it.
