Well, running your VIN# that you supplied, you have a ............1983 Honda ATC200E BigRed

From the tank you were describing, I would say that someone has put a tank from a 185S on it.

The 1983 185s tank only had a Honda logo and stripe on it.........and a large black gas cap.

The 1982 185s tank had a blue stripe and 185s written in white...........and a small chrome gas cap.

The 1981 185s tank had a white stripe and 185s written in blue.......and a small chrome gas cap.

Now..............Does this mahine have electric start and Hi/Lo range selector down on the left side of the engine??

If it does, You indeed have a BigRed with a 185s fuel tank.

If it does not, You have a BigRed frame........and everything else is 185s

It sometimes gets confusing working on these old trikes. So many parts interchange...LOL

I've got a couple, but my scanner has had a gremlin in it for the past week, that I haven't found yet....LOL

If you plan on keeping this bike, go get a Clymer manual for it. They run about $30, but worth every penny. DennisKirk has them and you can get them from your dealer as well.
