I am in kind of the same boat and I am going to do what it seems many have done before: Go to Walmart or an Auto parts store and pick up some aftermarket driving lights. Some of them are far superior to the factory units AND AT A MUCH LOWER COST. Of course, the mounts will have to be modified but that is no big deal, really. BigBadScrambler has some on his and they look stock but are 55watt(I think) and have two different projections, wide and far.

My lights are much better than stock. I am pretty sure they are 55wt and are much brighter. Plus they look a lot better. They are made by Navigator or Pilot, one or the other. I had to grind down part of the housing to make them fit right, and I had to bore out the mounting hole on the bracket, real easy though. Then I just wired them into my existing wiring so that they work with the stock switch
