1986 200x

you can get a nice one for about $650 mods are inexpensive and are alot to pick from it has around 14hp stock can bump it easy to 20hp with cam and filter and pipe I had a 86 and loved to wheelie it for it was a wheelie king of a bike. If you can find a 350X for under $900 it would be better for you for they are hard to out grow without killing yourself first had one of them too, I liked the 350 more for the power like the 200x more for the ease of riding. Both were pretty reliable the 350x more so than the 200x the 200x had a weak kick starter. I' sure you would enjoy either one, peace

I love the 86 200x. I curently have 2. One stock except fo pipe, the other modded to the max. Easy to mod. And they pick up a lot of hp. Some parts hard to find tho. Kickstarter levers, rr axles and brake parts to name a few. They are a lot of fun (my favorite ride), but 350x is a lot more machine for not a whole lot more $$. Check e-bay, 3wheelerworld classifieds, and 3wheeler.org classifieds and you may find one. Good luck.

That '86 [or the '87] will be very hard to find.
All I find are ones that have been run down beyond the value of restoration, or belong to the original owner who doesn't want to sell it.
If you do find a clean one, don't let it get away.
As far as speed goes, a stock '86 will run right with a 300EX in top speed, both bikes being stock.
