I love the 85/86 LT, but they do have some quirks. The frames are a bit weak, and the a arms are short, don't have the best suspension. It will be a decent upgrade over the Polaris in handling and power to weight ratio. The motor has a great powerband for trail riding. I kind of miss mine, but life goes on.

I agree with Scooter. To me it is a huge improvement all around. While the Polaris is a fine machine, I cannot stand single lever/pedal braking. There is nothing like being able to control the front and rear brakes independently. The downside is the LT250R does not have electric start or reverse. Sorry to say, I have gotten really lazy and it is really nice to have both. Also, make sure you don't mind having a manual transmission.

In that case, I think you will love it. I prefer Honda myself, but I would not hesitate to pick up a Suzuki, or for that matter, any brand, if I could get it for the right price. I have never ridden a sport quad that there was not something I liked about it.
